西荻窪にあるAtmosphereさんと言えば、ご存知のアーティーストも多いかもしれません。
個々の作品ごとに見せたい表情や感じさせたい空気を、デザインや色彩、素材などを用いて完全なるオーダーメイドの額装専門店です。
こちらを担っているのが実はアントさん。
かねてより額縁の機能や役割については、いろいろ考えていましたが、今回のたからもの展覧会でアントさんが検討くださることになりました。
多忙な中を縫って創作に励んでいただいた結果「スタッフからも上々の反応があり出展できます」とされたメールがほかほかだったように感じます。確かに額縁なのですが、今回剣を模したものをひっかけるような形で展示されています。
これは何も立体物でなく、絵画や陶磁などの展示でも興味深い表現ができそう。鏡を敷いてみても、ガラスとのコラボでも。
