I feel that Cathy's ceramic works have many elements that Japanese people easily recognise. However, I am fascinated by the form and the freedom of the carving, which seems to hold a wildness that comes from her experience of living in a vast and biodiverse land. Please enjoy the strong appearance and bold shapes.
