Horikoshi stopped by BIOME when he came to the Kansai region. (To top it off, he also took the opportunity to do some sketching in the Kyoto-Osaka-Kobe area.) Many of Horikoshi's sketches are of places he has traveled and visited, and they have an unpretentious, easygoing atmosphere as if you could almost hear him humming a tune.
While listening to his talk about his family and the transition of his creative process, we could also hear him talk about his worries, the creative process, the things he sometimes lets go of, and the shape he is in now.
We hope you will enjoy his works at the TAKARAMONO Exhibition.
